Thinking Graphically : Three Heroes of Colombian Graphic Design

For this project we were tasked with researching underrepresented designers or movements within the canon of design history and creating a zine highlighting their importance for faux magazine Canon Fodder. I chose to highlight Colombian designers Dicken Castro, David Consuegra, and Marta Granados. All three combined Modernist design ideals with native Colombian art to create vibrant, geometric designs that celebrated Colombian culture and established the country’s budding design industry.
